Summary:

We are looking for a driven and experienced B2B Marketer to lead strategic and executional marketing initiatives tailored for the Japanese market. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of local B2B buyer behavior and market dynamics and proven experience in developing demand generation programs that deliver measurable impact.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end campaign planning, client project management, and aligning cross-functional efforts to drive customer acquisition, lead generation, and client success. Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term B2B marketing strategies for the Japanese market.
  • Lead customer acquisition, demand generation, and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Optimize lead generation funnels to consistently deliver qualified leads to sales.
  • Track, measure, and analyze KPIs, adjusting campaigns based on performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide positioning and messaging.

2. Client Handling & Project Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients in Japan, ensuring project alignment and satisfaction.
  • Manage project timelines, client communications, campaign delivery, and reporting.
  • Lead proposal creation and present marketing recommendations that meet client goals.
  • Ensure campaigns align with both client objectives and internal standards.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & General Support

  • Work closely with product, sales, and content teams to align marketing activities with business goals.
  • Contribute to product improvement initiatives based on customer insights and market trends.
  • Mentor junior team members and support local staff training in Japan.
  • Continuously evolve marketing approaches to stay ahead in a dynamic market landscape.

Basic requirements:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, particularly in lead/demand generation and customer acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies: content, email, SEO, social, paid media, etc.
  • Proven experience working in or with the Japanese market—cultural insight and professional fluency required.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with KPI tracking and campaign reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  • Experience with CRM tools and project management software is a plus.
